Video
The Video Channel writes a script in your own voice, puts it on a built-in teleprompter, and lets you record straight from your webcam. You get a talking-head video without a studio, a crew, or a blank page.
What it is
Video is one of the five TrueTone Channels. Starting from a Seed (a topic idea), it generates a short spoken script tuned to your TrueTone Profile, then hands you the tools to turn that script into a finished video: a teleprompter that follows along as you talk, and in-browser recording sized for wherever the video is going.
The script is written to be spoken. It is continuous, natural, voice-aligned prose, the kind of thing you would actually say to a client, not a shot list. Alongside the script you get a title and two to five key points that summarize what the video covers.
You never have to leave the app. Read from the teleprompter, hit record, and you have a video ready to download or schedule. If you would rather film somewhere else, you can download the script as a PDF and record on your own gear.
There are no beats, scenes, or shot templates to fill in. The Video Channel gives you words in your voice and gets out of your way.
Who it is for
Any loan officer who knows that video builds trust faster than text but freezes at “what do I even say, and how do I not sound like a robot.” If reading from notes on your phone feels stiff, or if you have started a hundred videos and finished none, this is the Channel that removes the friction between an idea and a recording.
How it works
Start from a Seed
Pick a Seed (a curated topic) and generate a Video script. TrueTone writes it in your voice using your TrueTone Profile, so the pacing, warmth, and word choice sound like you. A social caption is generated at the same time, ready for when you post.
Read it and adjust the teleprompter
Open the script in the built-in teleprompter. You can set the font size, dim the background opacity, and turn a progress bar on or off. Pick a scroll mode:
- Voice-follow advances the script as you speak, so it waits for you instead of the other way around.
- Auto-scroll moves at a steady speed you control.
Record in your browser
Choose your camera and microphone, check the mirrored preview, pick an aspect ratio, and record. A countdown gives you a beat to settle before it rolls. You can pause and resume mid-take, and re-record as many times as you want until it feels right.
Finish and share
Download the script as a PDF, download the finished video, or send it to the Scheduler to post later. You can also generate captions from your recording and style them before you download or schedule.
Aspect ratios
Record once in the shape that fits the destination.
| Ratio | Shape | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 16:9 | Landscape | YouTube, LinkedIn |
| 1:1 | Square | Instagram feed |
| 9:16 | Portrait | Stories, Reels, TikTok |
Two ways to record
The script is yours either way. Record where it is easiest for you.
Record in TrueTone
Use the built-in teleprompter and webcam recorder. Everything stays in one place: read, record, add captions, and download or schedule without ever exporting a file. This is the fastest path from idea to posted video.
Good to know
The script is spoken words only. It contains no stage directions, camera notes, or scene structure by design. What you read is exactly what you say.
Recording happens in your browser, so you need to allow camera and microphone access when prompted. Voice-follow scrolling relies on your browser’s speech recognition; if your browser does not support it, auto-scroll always works.
Not happy with the script? Regenerate it for a stronger hook and tighter pacing, or edit it directly before you record. Generating a Video script draws from your plan’s usage, the same as the other Channels.
