Cancel, save offer, and reactivate

Canceling never cuts you off on the spot. Your subscription is scheduled to end when the current billing period closes, and you keep full access until then. You can resume anytime before that date with one click, and your work stays in your account throughout.

What it is

This is the flow for winding a subscription down, pausing it, or bringing it back. It covers three things:

  • Cancel stops your subscription from renewing. It is always scheduled for the end of your paid period, never an immediate shutoff.
  • Save offers are a single, targeted alternative to canceling. Depending on why you are leaving, you may be shown one option to stay, such as a pause, a discount, a switch to annual billing, or an extra week of trial.
  • Reactivate turns a scheduled cancellation back off, so your subscription simply continues.

Everything here runs inside the app on your billing page. There is no phone call to make and no support ticket needed. You do get confirmation emails as the state of your subscription changes: one when a cancellation is scheduled, one if the subscription actually ends, and one when it is reactivated, so there is never any doubt about where your billing stands.

Who it is for

Individual loan officers who pay for their own subscription. If you are on an enterprise seat, your organization is the billing account, so you will not see a personal cancel or reactivate control.

⚠️

Enterprise seats do not self-cancel. Billing is managed by the organization, so a seat that tries to reactivate is pointed back to its organization admin. If you are on an enterprise seat and need a change, contact your admin.

How canceling works

Open the cancel flow

On your billing page, choose Cancel subscription. A short dialog opens.

Tell us why

Pick one reason from the list. A free-text box lets you add more if you want, but it is optional. The reason is required to continue, and it is used only to understand why people leave.

See if there is an offer to stay

Based on your reason, you may be shown one save offer. You can accept it, or choose No thanks, cancel to keep going. Some reasons skip this step entirely.

Confirm

The final screen tells you exactly what happens. If you are on a paid plan, your access continues until the end of the current period and then does not renew. If you are still in a trial, the trial ends and you are not charged. Confirm to schedule the cancellation.

💡

Once a cancellation is scheduled, your billing page shows a Cancellation scheduled notice with the date your access runs through, plus a Resume subscription button. You are not locked out. You are simply set to not renew.

The save offers

When you give a reason for leaving, the flow may present one offer that fits it. You are only ever shown a single offer, and each one can be applied only once.

OfferWhat it doesWhen you tend to see it
Take a breakPauses your billing for a short stretch. Your account and everything you have created stay in place, and billing resumes automatically when the pause ends. When the reason is about value, missing features, or a change in your business.
Stay for lessApplies a limited-time discount to your current plan. Nothing else about your plan or your work changes. The exact savings are shown on the offer screen. When the reason is price or switching to another tool.
Switch to annualMoves you to annual billing, which costs less than paying month to month. The switch takes effect at your next renewal, with no mid-cycle charge.Offered in place of the discount when a discount is not available for your account.
Take another weekAdds 7 more days to your trial, free. You are not charged until the extended trial ends. When you are still in a trial, whatever your reason.

Accepting an offer keeps your subscription active and clears the pending cancellation. Two reasons never trigger an offer: reporting a technical issue, or choosing “something else.” Those go straight to the confirmation screen so you are not slowed down.

💡

Offers cannot stack or repeat, and each one can be used once per customer, ever. Your account remembers which offers you have accepted, even across a cancellation and a later re-subscribe, so a spent offer does not come back. If a discount is already on your plan or has been used before, you will not be offered another. If you are already on annual, the annual switch is not offered. A trial can be extended once.

After your subscription ends

An ended subscription does not lock you out of your own work. Your account switches to a read-only mode designed for coming back:

  • Your billing page is always reachable, so restarting is never more than a few clicks away.
  • Your creations, your contacts, and your voice settings stay open to view, read-only. Nothing you made disappears behind the wall.
  • Everything else shows a reactivation prompt instead of the usual page, with a plain list of the areas that are still open so you are never at a dead end.
  • Your public website goes offline while the subscription is ended. The site and its content are kept, and the site is republished automatically when you subscribe again.

Reactivating or resuming

Before your access ends

If your subscription is scheduled to cancel, open your billing page and choose Resume subscription on the Cancellation scheduled notice. Your subscription is set back to renewing as normal, and the scheduled cancellation is removed. This works anytime before your access date passes.

After it has fully ended

Once a subscription has actually ended, it cannot be flipped back on. You start fresh by choosing a plan again from your billing page. Your prior creations and website content are still in your account when you return.

When you do come back, a confirmation email lets you know your subscription is active again and billing has resumed.

⚠️

If your subscription is not canceling but has a payment problem, resuming is not the fix. Update your card first. See Failed payments.

What happens to your content and credits

  • Your content stays. Canceling does not delete your creations, your media, or your website content. Ending a subscription switches your account to inactive, it does not erase your work.
  • Access continues until the period ends. You keep using everything you paid for right up to your access date. On a trial, canceling simply ends the trial with no charge.
  • Generation stops when the account goes inactive. After your subscription ends, creating new content pauses, and your plan’s monthly credit allowance stops refreshing. Resuming before the end date keeps everything running without a gap.

Credit packs and subscription credits are handled on their own pages. If you are wondering how your monthly credits and any add-on packs behave, see Credit packs and top-ups.

Good to know

  • Canceling is always scheduled, never instant. There is no way to lose access mid-period from this flow.
  • You do not need to accept an offer. Every offer screen has a plain path to keep canceling.
  • Resuming is free and immediate, with no new checkout, as long as your subscription has not yet ended.
