The Email channel turns a topic into a complete, on-voice email: subject line, inbox preview text, and body. It is export only. You copy or download the finished email and send it from your own email platform. TrueTone never sends it to your clients for you.
What it is
Email is one of the five TrueTone Channels. You start from a seed (a topic worth writing about), and TrueTone drafts a full email that sounds like you: a subject line built to survive a mobile inbox, the short preview text that shows next to it, the body copy, and, when it fits, a short call-to-action button label.
Every draft comes back with your signature block already in place: your real name, title, and credentials, plus your company or lender branding and accent color. You are not pasting your sign-off in by hand, and TrueTone is not inventing one.
The draft opens in a visual email studio where you can edit the words, swap or drop the image, adjust the layout, and fine-tune the branding before you use it. Nothing about the email is locked. What you approve is exactly what leaves the app.
Who it is for
Any loan officer who sends client newsletters, rate-update notes, or follow-up emails and does not want to start from a blank draft every time. It fits people who already send from a real email platform, whether that is Gmail, Outlook, or a dedicated email service, and who want a voice-matched draft they can drop straight into it.
Export only: you send it, not TrueTone
This is the part to be blunt about. TrueTone does not deliver your email to your client list. It writes and formats the email, and then hands it to you to send. There is no “reply and we will send it for you” step, and there is no audience or list-sending built into the Channel.
When your email is ready, the studio gives you three ways to take it with you:
| Export | What you get | Best when |
|---|---|---|
| Copy email | Rich text, formatted and ready to paste | You send from Gmail or Outlook |
| Copy HTML | The raw source markup | Your email platform accepts pasted HTML |
| Download HTML | A saved .html file | You upload or import the file elsewhere |
From there you paste or import the email into whatever tool you already use to send, and it goes out under your own address, on your own send. Because the actual send happens in your platform, scheduling, unsubscribe handling, and open or click stats all live there too, not inside TrueTone.
How to create one
Pick a seed
Open a topic from your seed list (sent by your organization, curated by TrueTone, or one you made yourself) and choose to generate an email from it.
Let it draft the email
TrueTone writes the subject line, preview text, and body in your voice using your TrueTone Profile. Your signature and branding are applied automatically. This takes a few moments and lands as a finished draft, not an outline.
Edit in the studio
Review the draft in the visual email studio. Change any wording, swap or remove the image, tweak the layout, and adjust the accent color or signature. You can also ask for a full rewrite with change instructions, and the rewrite stays in your voice while keeping your edits as its starting point.
Export and send
Use Copy email, Copy HTML, or Download HTML to take the finished email out, then send it from your own email platform.
Good to know and limits
TrueTone does not send email on your behalf. The Email channel produces a finished, formatted email for you to export. Delivery to your clients always happens in your own email tool.
- Preview before you export. You can send a test copy of the email to your own inbox (or a teammate’s) to see how it renders. That is a preview to check formatting, not a send to your client list.
- Regeneration preserves your edits. When you ask for changes, the rewrite is based on the current saved version of the email, so the work you already did is respected rather than thrown away.
- Your voice is built in. Every email reflects your TrueTone Profile, so the subject line and body read like you wrote them, not like a template.
- Branding is automatic. The signature block and accent color come from your profile and your company or lender branding. You do not rebuild them per email.
