Interests and your seed digest
Follow the topics you want seeds about, and TrueTone matches fresh seeds to you. A short daily email, the Seed Digest, brings the newest ones straight to your inbox, and your interests also decide what you see first in the seed library.
What it is
Interests are the topics you tell TrueTone you want to write about. Following them turns your seed experience from a generic firehose into a list that leans toward the things you actually talk about with clients and peers.
Interests are organized under two Interest Groups, based on who the resulting content is meant to reach:
- Client Education, the topics your buyers, homeowners, and referral partners ask about.
- Brand Building, the topics that grow your name and voice with peers and partners, spanning areas like marketing, leadership, technology, and your industry.
Inside each group is a set of individual Interests you can follow one by one. Following is a single tap on a chip, and it saves instantly. There is no Save button, and following a topic does not sign you up for extra emails. The daily digest is the one delivery rhythm.
Who it is for
Any loan officer who wants a steady, relevant supply of things to post about without hunting through every topic. If some subjects matter to you and others never will, your Interests are how you say so. Marketing and support can point here when someone asks “how do I get the system to show me the stuff I care about?”
How following works
Open your Interests
In your account, open the Interests section. You will see the two groups, Client Education and Brand Building, each with a row of topic chips.
Tap to follow
Tap any topic to follow it. The chip highlights right away, and the change is saved the moment you tap. Tap it again to unfollow. You can follow as many or as few as you like.
Let it shape what you get
From there, your followed Interests quietly steer two things: the seeds matched to your daily digest, and the ordering and filter chips in your seed library. You do not have to do anything else.
New to TrueTone? Picking your Interests is one of the onboarding steps, where you choose at least three to get started. If your organization set defaults for your seat, those arrive already followed, and you are free to change them.
The Daily Seed Digest
Once a day, TrueTone gathers the seeds that were newly added and approved in the last day and sends you a short email built around your Interests. Here is what happens behind the scenes.
New seeds are gathered
TrueTone looks at every seed that became available in the last day. This is a fresh-ideas feed, so seeds you have already had a chance to see are not sent again.
They are matched to you
The new seeds are compared against the Interests you follow. Only the ones that line up with your topics are considered for your digest.
They are grouped and trimmed
The matches are sorted under two friendly headings, “For your clients” and “For your brand,” so you can see at a glance who each idea speaks to. The list is kept short on purpose, capping at roughly six seeds and balancing them across the two groups so one busy topic area cannot crowd the other out.
The email lands in your inbox
Every seed in the digest links straight to its page, where you can open it and turn it into a blog, email, social post, video script, or audiogram in your own voice.
When a digest does and does not arrive
The digest is about curation, not overload. It respects your choices in both directions, so a quiet day for your topics means a quiet inbox, not filler.
- You follow Interests and there are new matching seeds. You get a digest with those seeds, grouped and capped as above.
- You follow Interests but nothing new matched today. You get no digest that day. Your curation is respected rather than padded with topics you did not ask for.
- You have not followed any Interests yet. Instead of leaving you out, TrueTone sends a balanced sampler of fresh ideas with a nudge to pick your Interests, so you are never left with silence.
Interests never hide seeds
This is the important promise. Interests curate and rank, they never hide. Following a topic pushes matching seeds to the top of your library under a “For you” ordering and adds quick filter chips, but the full curated library is always there to browse and search. Nothing is locked away because you did not follow it.
Good to know
The Seed Digest is an email. If you would rather not receive it, you can turn the daily email off in your Notifications settings. Turning it off does not change your Interests or your in-app “For you” ordering.
- Following or unfollowing a topic is instant and reversible. There is no penalty for experimenting.
- Each seed is tied to a small number of Interests within a single group, which is how the digest can sort ideas cleanly into “for your clients” and “for your brand.”
- The digest only covers seeds that are new in the last day, so it is a fresh-ideas feed, not a re-send of your whole library.
- Your Interests are personal to you. Two loan officers who follow the same topics still generate content in their own separate voices.
- If your company set default Interests for your seat, you start with those already followed. They are a starting point, and you can follow or unfollow freely from there.
Where your Interests show up
Once you have followed a few topics, you will notice them working in three places:
- Your Interests section, where you follow and unfollow topics and see everything you currently follow.
- The Daily Seed Digest email, matched and grouped around those topics.
- The seed library, where your followed Interests appear as filter chips and float matching seeds to the top under a “For you” ordering.
Change your Interests any time and all three update to match.
