Releasing accepted pieces
A Compliance Admin’s acceptance never releases a piece on its own. Release stays with your company. If you chose “An org admin authorizes each release”, accepted pieces wait for an org admin in Waiting for release.
Where they wait
Org admins see Waiting for release in the sidebar, and get a notice when “A loan officer’s” piece “is ready for you to authorize its release.” The loan officer sees Waiting for release on the piece.
Your choices
| Choice | What happens |
|---|---|
| Authorize release | Releases the exact version that was checked. Your name and the time are recorded. The loan officer is told and can post or schedule it. |
| Decline | Nothing goes out. Your reason is recorded, and this exact version can never be released afterwards: the loan officer changes it and runs a new check. |
| Approve without a review | Only when the check could not run on an item, so nobody reviewed it. Your approval is recorded against that exact version with your name, the time and your reason. |
An authorization can also be revoked from the same queue.
Skipping this step
Under Settings, Compliance, Release, choose “Release accepted pieces by our policy” and accepted pieces can go out as soon as they are accepted. You can also release clean checks on Enforced Channels automatically. See Company compliance settings.
