Creating content
Every piece of content starts from a seed and is written in your own voice. Pick one or more of the five Channels, and the TrueTone System drafts each one live, spending credits from your monthly allowance as it goes.
What it is
Generation is how you turn a topic into finished drafts. You open a seed (a saved topic idea), choose the Channels you want, and each draft is written in your TrueTone Profile voice. The text appears as it is written, so you watch it come together instead of waiting on a spinner.
There are exactly five Channels: Blog, Email, Social, Video, and Audiograms. You can generate one Channel or several at once from the same seed, so a single topic can become a blog post, an email, and a social caption in a single pass.
You do not re-tune your tone every time. Your TrueTone Profile and current voice settings are applied to every generation automatically, so a blog and a social post drawn from the same seed still sound like the same person: you.
Who it is for
Every loan officer. If you have a paid seat, you can generate. Solo accounts draw from their own credit balance. Enterprise seats draw from their organization’s shared credit pool, within the per-seat limit an org admin set. The generation experience is identical either way; only where the credits come from differs.
The five Channels
Each Channel produces a different kind of content from the same seed. Open any one for the full walkthrough.
At a glance, here is what each one gives you and the one rule worth remembering:
| Channel | What you get | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Blog | An SEO-ready article with a title, meta description, and keywords | A featured image is required |
| A subject line and body, ready to copy or export | TrueTone never sends it for you; it is export-only | |
| Social | One caption, hashtags, and alt text | The same caption works on every platform. There is no per-platform tuning |
| Video | A spoken script with a built-in teleprompter | Voice-aligned prose, not scene or beat templates |
| Audiograms | A short audio-visual clip for social feeds | The script is written fresh; it does not pull from a blog, email, or seed body |
How it works
Start from a seed
Generation always begins from a seed. Pick one from your seed list, or create your own from the Create page. Seeds exist for a reason: the blank page is the real pain, and starting from a topic is what makes the rest fast. See Seeds.
Choose your Channels
On the seed, choose which of the five Channels to produce. Select just one, or check several to draft them together. Some Channels offer a few options first, for example whether a social post is text only or includes an image, or which image to feature on a blog.
Watch it draft in your voice
Each Channel writes live, streaming the text as it is generated. Behind the scenes, your TrueTone Profile and voice settings are folded into every draft, so you are reviewing something that already sounds like you rather than a generic first pass you have to rewrite.
Review, then publish or export
When a draft finishes, it is saved as a creation you can open, edit, and refine. From there you publish it to your website, schedule it, or export it, depending on the Channel. Email is always export-only.
How voice alignment works
Your voice is captured once, up front, in a short interview with Tru (the onboarding interviewer). That session produces your TrueTone Profile: a structured read on how you write, built from eight traits and six layers. You never re-do it per piece of content.
From then on, every generation reads your TrueTone Profile and your current voice settings and writes to them. The profile carries the nuance: your tone, formality, humor, level of detail, vocabulary, preferred length, and how you like to engage a reader. A snapshot of what was applied is stored with each creation, so you can always see the voice a given draft was written against. The practical result: you approve and polish, you rarely rewrite from scratch.
Credits are spent per generation
Each generation spends credits from your monthly allowance. Generating several Channels from one seed spends credits for each Channel you selected, because each is its own draft. Before a draft runs, the credits are reserved, so you always know a generation is accounted for.
If you reach your monthly credit allowance, generation pauses until your allowance resets or more credits are added. Enterprise seats can also be paused by an organization spending cap. Either way you are told clearly, and no draft runs silently against credits you do not have. See Credits and usage.
Good to know
You cannot generate from nothing. Every Channel needs a seed to work from, so if you are stuck for what to write, start in Seeds rather than the generator.
- Social produces one caption for every platform on purpose. You will not find separate LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook variants to manage.
- Video gives you a script and a teleprompter, written as voice-aligned prose. There are no fixed scene or beat structures to fill in.
- Audiograms write their own script from the topic. They deliberately do not reuse your blog or email copy.
- Email is written for you to send yourself. TrueTone never emails your contacts on your behalf.
- A finished draft is a creation, not a live post. Publishing, scheduling, or exporting is a separate, deliberate step you take after review.
